In Preparation for your lottery application, Please have the following ready.

  • Your child’s name and address
  • The name of your child’s zoned school (or school last attended)
  • Your child’s “student id” (given at the time your child registers in a regular AACPS).

  • Non-AACPS student: Magnet ID will be generated during the registration process.

Once the Lottery is over and selections are made be prepared to act quickly with the following.

  • Your child’s birth certificate
  • Proof of AA residency
  • Current immunization record
  • A complete documentation checklist will be made available and is accessible at under the Student/Parent Portal tab.
